Psychologists in Johannesburg
Psychologists are not medical doctors. In fact, a psychologist can have PhD in philosophy and still be recognized as a psychologist. However, this doesn’t mean that anyone can go into this field without any training or qualifications. In order to become a psychologist, the practitioner needs to have doctoral degree in an area of psychology, which is the study of the human behavior. Also, unlike psychiatrists, psychologists are trained to give psychology tests, like Personality or IQ tests for example.
